I remember that it came out in 1993 and was created by Accolade. It's a very addicting game with fast-paced action that is set in New York City. The game is played by just scrolling up or down on the keyboard to control your car's speed, while pressing spacebar will cause your car to jump over any obstacles in its path. Pressing R will allow you to reset back to where you started so you can try again when you get stuck at certain points in the game. Pressing 1 and 2 will allow you to change the camera angle, allowing you to play the game from a different perspective. There are four different levels of competition: Rookie, Pro, Veteran and Champion. Each level has its own set of challenges that will test your driving skills. The challenges get harder each time you advance in level, starting off with simple jumps and ending with incredibly difficult ones like shooting over ramps at high speeds and midair spinning loops. Although it may get difficult sometimes, this is a great way to show off your driving skills and beat your own record. The first level of tournament is called Rookie tournament. It's a very easy level if you're a new player, but it will become more difficult as you progress through all the different tournament levels. In this level, your goal is to drive through the checkpoints without crashing. If you do crash, you have to start from scratch by going back to the beginning of the race. There are many features of this game that make it addicting, such as jumping over ramps and building up speed by stomping on gas for a longer period of time to beat out your opponents. Also if your car isn't fueled up at all, it can perform slingshot maneuvers until there is enough fuel in the tank to keep going. The xbox live version of this game needs a high speed internet connection and a keyboard or a gaming controller. The reason why a high speed internet connection is required is because the download time will be longer, which causes you to wait longer to play the game. The second level of competition is called "Pro Tournament". This is where the competition gets tougher as you have to deal with very narrow roadways, as well as steep hills and valleys. In this tournament, instead of getting extra time if you go through the check points, they now actually subtract from your score if they are touched. There are also barriers like metal fences and concrete walls that can't be jumped over, so you have to find alternate paths. The third tournament is called "Veteran Tournament". The camera angle will now change, which is sort of annoying. You now have to jump through checkpoints that are scattered all over the place with no visible pattern, not just straight forward like in the Pro Tournament. There are now very steep hills and valleys that must be negotiated at high speeds. There are also speed bumps scattered around the roadways. Be careful not to hit them or you will slow down considerably, possibly reaching speeds so slow that you may stop completely if you drive too far ahead of your opponent. cfa1e77820
